BRIEF

PwC's top clients had seen everything. A three-Michelin-star meal was table stakes. PwC wanted to signal two things without saying either out loud: that they think differently, and that the future is already here. They came to us with a single room, twenty seats, and a restaurant whose reputation they needed to honor.

STRATEGY

We went into the Le Bernadin kitchen before a single idea was sketched. Watched Chef Eric Ripert's team build each dish from nothing.

 

That was the idea. Projection on the table itself. Each dish would arrive twice: first as animation, then as reality.

CREATIVE

Every course was shot in stop-motion from the diner's point of view, each ingredient placed exactly as the kitchen placed it, frame by frame. Those sequences became animations that played on the tablecloth seconds before the real dish arrived.

PRODUCTION

The room presented a real constraint: no blank walls, no obvious place for equipment, and a three-Michelin-star dining room that had to stay exactly that. Compact laser projectors tucked into the ceiling slats overhead, angled to land exactly on the table surface below.

LAUNCH

Getting precision projection onto a white tablecloth in a working restaurant required calibration down to the millimeter.

Every projector aligned to each diner's exact seat position, accounting for table height, plate placement, and the kitchen's timing for each course.

IMPACT

The evening became PwC's benchmark for client entertainment. Described internally as the most memorable client event they had produced. Bravo has since been called back for additional engagements.
